VP or Die
Gamers are expected to go gun-totting crazy later this summer when Electric Arts release their new computer game 'VP or Die'. The game, which uses the classic 'first person shooter' model, features the player as American Vice President Dick Cheney as he goes on a rampant mission across the country shooting wild deer and friends alike. Cheney told his friends 'the game's a blast, and so lifelike' The game, inspired by Dick Cheney's own recent past, is the latest in a number of other computer games which have sought to bridge the gap between a virtual and real world. Other games which have recently caught the imagination include: * Grand Theft Oil Iraq * Lara Croft Womb Raider (featuring a recently pregnant Angelina Jolie), and * Pacman Hay Fever VP or Die is expected to eclipse all of these, although experts predict that makers can expect a legal challenge from rapper 50 Cent, who's produced his own 'shoot 'em up' game based on his album 'Get Rich Or Die Trying'. A spokesman for Wal Mart confirmed they were in discussions with Cheney for a series of endorsed products which would be sold exclusively in their stores. 'We're keen to say to our customers, you've played the game, now buy the gun,' a spokesman said. 'There's real demand for that sort of cross 'VP or Die' is set to hit the shops this Summer.
